Annual Career and College Exploration Fair at UDHS
Upper Darby High School students who are interested in learning about future career possibilities will be given the opportunity to do so in April. On Wednesday, April 5th, the high school will host the annual Career and College Exploration Fair for sophomore and junior students. The Fair will be held in the Upper Darby High School Gymnasium from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM. Parents are welcome to attend this comprehensive event. The Fair is consistent with the school districtís effort to provide all students with wide-ranging career information and to prepare them for meaningful futures through post-secondary education or training.
Representatives from over100 area colleges and universities, business and technical schools, apprentice programs, the military and other career areas will be on hand to speak with students and to disseminate up-to-date information regarding their institutions and particular areas of interest. Students will have the opportunity to explore an extensive range of programs and careers including liberal arts programs, the fine and performing arts, the allied health fields, automotive technology, business, computers, construction, cosmetology, criminal justice, culinary studies, education, engineering, hospitality, information technology, law enforcement, the sciences, the military, and more.
Questions about the Career and College Exploration Fair may be directed to Gisela Klein, UDHS Post-Secondary Planning Coordinator, at 610-622-7000, ext. 2299.
